As a member of the orchestra, I have the privilege of presenting a dynamic fusion of energy and grace. Fulfilling a significant role as Principal Trumpet, I take pride in my contributions to the Delta and Corinth Symphony Orchestras. Moreover, I am grateful to be included on the substitute list for other prestigious symphonies, affording me the valuable opportunity to collaborate with and learn from some of the most accomplished musicians in the country.

Solo work constitutes a vital dimension of my artistic expression. As a music educator, I prioritize acquainting both myself and my students with foundational pieces that serve as cornerstones within our repertoire. Concurrently, I make efforts to contribute to the expansion of the standard trumpet repertoire by advocating for and premiering new works by emerging composers.

Engaging in musical collaborations is a profoundly rewarding experience. Exploring new compositions, particularly those featuring distinctive instrumentations, breathes fresh life into music, introducing a palette of new colors and timbres. What began as playing duets with fellow musicians evolved into a genuine passion for performing these works, delving into the intricacies of how our instruments and ideas can best complement each other.

I've always prided myself on being able to traverse the worlds of classical and Jazz/Commercial playing on the horn. From the outset of my musical journey, my goal has been to excel in a multitude of styles. This dedication has led me to become a well-known lead player in Memphis, where I've had the opportunity to perform with prominent groups such as Freeworld and the Memphis Jazz Orchestra.
